The cloth
We keep a small standing range and weave the rest to order. Everything is sampled first — you see and feel the actual weave and shade before a length is set on the loom.
Plain weave, undyed warp with a stone-grey weft. 45 × 150 cm, mitred corners.
Set of four, half-bleached flax, hand-rolled hem. Softens to a quiet drape after the first wash.
Deep waffle weave for the bath; thirsty and fast to dry. Natural or warm grey.
Tight plain weave with a woven stripe at each end. Made to be used daily and bleach back.
Heavier 2/2 twill for aprons and bags, 70 cm wide, sold in half-metre steps.
Loose sheer linen that moves with the draught and lets the river light through.
Colours shift slightly between runs — flax is a natural fibre and we like it that way. Come and choose from the current warp, or write ahead and we will set stones aside for you.
